So, we traveled from Riga to Lviv (Lviv=Lemberg) Ukraine and because Martin served in Ukraine he could speak and see "his" country again.
We left at 11.40 am from Riga and arrived at Lviv 6.50am (19 hours) ok, I won't complaint, but those who have been pregnant and even had nausea can imagine what I felt when the guy, who was sitting behind my husband started to eat garlic, some kind of pickles and already smelled from alcohol. BRRRRRRRRrrr so, anyways.
These photos were taken in Poland as we traveled through on the whole country.

We arrived at Lviv just in the morning.
We were planning to go by train to Nyiregyhaza, but our train would leave only in the evening at 9pm so that would have been such a waste of time so then we asked in this bus station what other possibilities they would have to get closer to the Hungarian border. The lady told us that there is a little bus which leaves in 15 minutes that goes to Uzgorod. I was so fed up with buses so I told my husband that I only go if there is a toilet in the bus. The lady said nope, no toilets.
We stepped a little back and started to think what should we do and ( I am so grateful for this thought) we decided that we will go with this bus just to get closer to Hungary as soon as possible. Martin was standing in the line and I went to search for the bus. I found it. Then I went back to tell my husband to hurry because the bus would leave in couple of minutes.
There was not that many hope that we could make the bus since there were still 2 people in front of Martin in the line.
So, I went to the bus and asked a lady, who was also waiting for the same bus to get on. I asked her if she speaks Latvian (not that I would speak, but at least I speak more than Ukrainian or Russian) I told her at first that "our" husband is buying the ticket and is coming soon so please tell the driver to wait then I realized that I said our husband instead of my husband, oh well. She understood and told to the driver that they need to wait. They were so nice and kind. She just smiled back and said, ok we will wait and don't worry.
Finally Martin could buy the tickets and arrived to the bus so we all jumped into the bus and found out that there is no seats for us. The driver said in 15 minutes you will have seats, so don't worry. He nicely let me sit on the top of the luggage. I sat closest to the driver and I was able to see his timetable what time he is supposes to arrive into different stops so the 15 minutes was a little exaggeration. Actually it took an hour and 10 minutes when we got real seat, but oh, well, we were on the way home.
We traveled through the Carpathian mountains. And I survived the bus ride.
So, here are some photos during our bus ride.

We then arrived to Uzgorod after a 5 hours of bus ride (just right after the other 19 hours that we had from Riga) then we caught another bus to Chop which was another 40 minutes ride then we finally arrived to Chop from where we traveled by train to Zahony and changed a train and when from Zahony to Nyiregyhaza. So, after 27 hours of traveling we finally arrived home.
My parents did not know that we would arrive on Friday. They were expecting us for Saturday. We told to my dad (since he was at home when we arrived home) that he has to tell to my mom that there is a package to her from us. Of course she had her birthday package there and we hide ourselves in the cupboard. It was so fun to see my parents after 7 months.
My dad said that he was planting those red paprikas for me. So, here are some photos about it. And just to make this post shorter. WE also had the fruit carnival on the following day.
On the 15 of September we celebrated my dad's 70th birthday and had a chance to meet my distant relatives well, mostly my closer relatives aunts and uncles. It was also fun.

Then here comes some photos from my dad's birthday party.
He was 70 years old.
The second birthday cake was made by my mom and I made those stuffed cabbages.

Then here comes some other photos from Debrecen. We met Elder Laitinen in Debrecen. He is from Finland and poor missionary had to fulfill my dreams and prayers. Before I finished my mission I prayed that there would be a Finnish missionary in Hungary. Well, he got called to serve in Hungary, but by then I also moved back to Finland.
I guess he does not mind that he is serving in Hungary.
Then we have a picture with Viktor. He is just so amazing and talented. We hope that he can go on a mission. He would be such an amazing missionary and tool in Heavenly Father's hand.
Then a picture with my childhood friend Anett. Oh, yeah we had so much fun when we lived very close to each other, but then later on they moved far away from us and that made it a little bit harder.
And there is a photo with Anett's dog. Bloky she is so extremely old that I do not even know how, but older than 15 years old for sure.

And there are some random pictures that we took before we left.

Our train left on Sunday evening.
If any of you ever had a clue what would it be on a train that was doing deportations then you can imagine what I felt during the 1 hour of our train trip.
Luckily my husband came just in time to ask me to go to his car, because on this train woman and man is separated, but in his car there were 2 Hungarian guys. They were so nice. We had such a good conversations with them and overall they let me sleep there with my husband. I was so grateful for them.
But let me tell you what happened on the train when the Ukrainian border guard lady arrived to the train Martin already heard that she said in Ukrainian, that she wants to talk with that Latvian.
His passport is full with visas since he served his mission in Ukraine. And it was also very strange that he is speaking Ukrainian. If that lady was a church member then surely she would not wonder anymore why on Earth he has that many visas and anyways why on earth he was in Ukraine for such a long time. Then here comes the fun. She asked me, who I am. What is that guys name (referring to my husband) when was he born, what month, what year? Where was he born? How do I know him? Where does he live? Where are we going? I know that it is hard to imagine, but try it. You travel somewhere where someone jumps to you and starts to ask about your husband. Then I guess she was satisfied with the answers then she turned to Martin. She asked my husband to read from his passport. Just to prove it that he can read Latvian language. Then he had to translate it into Ukrainian. Luckily he is a translator and anyways he is just so calmed person so that I guess he would also sing the national anthem in Latvian if the lady would have asked him to do so.
After he proved that he is Latvian and I proved it that I am married to this person by my side, she left us.
The 2 guys almost could not stop laughing. One of them said I was expecting that you would also have to dance some folk dances. And you know what, actually last year Martin was teaching Latvian folk dances at the Youth Conference. So, I guess he could have done that too. I love to have this amazing husband.
And where ever we go it is almost always like this. How on earth this Latvian and Hungarian came across? Well, it was so well planned earlier. I believe so :)

So, here are some photos from Lviv (Lvov) the city used to be a Polish city.
It still looks different than the rest of Ukraine, at least for me.
By the way that goat was eating in a public park with some other cows around it and some bulls too. I thought it is interesting because I have never seen goats, cows hanging out in public parks in the city center.

The rest of the photos were made around the branch house. Martin had some zone conferences in that branch house, but unfortunately no one was when we were there.
So, that is why we just have some photos from out side.

So, it was a great trip back to Hungary.
